Transferring a call (attendant)

Use an attended transfer to place a caller on hold while you speak to the transfer recipient. After you have finished speaking, use the following steps to complete an attended transfer from your Vonage phone:

  1. Press the Transfer button on your phone to place the caller on hold. This may be a key on your phone or a softkey that appears on your phone's display.
  2. Dial the recipient's extension number or external phone number, and press the dial softkey or # (pound) button.
  3. Announce the caller after the recipient answers.
  4. Press the Transfer button or softkey a second time to complete the transfer.

Transferring a call (blind)

Use a blind transfer to transfer a caller to in internal extension or external phone number without announcing the caller to the recipient.

  1. Press the Transfer button or softkey.
  2. Enter the destination extension or external phone number.
  3. Press the Send softkey, or green phone icon, to complete the blind transfer.

Transferring a call (to voicemail)

You can transfer a call to the voicemail of an extension on your account by dialing ** and then the extension number.

  1. Press the Transfer button or softkey.
  2. Enter ** and the destination extension.
  3. Press the Send softkey, or green phone icon, to complete the transfer to voicemail.

Using voicemail

  1. Press the voicemail key on your phone or dial *99 or *100.
  2. Enter your Voicemail PIN (all phones use 1234 as the password)
  3. Follow instructions to listen to voicemail messages, record greetings, or change voicemail options.

Sending a caller to the screener queue

  1. Press the Transfer button or softkey.
  2. Enter 802.
  3. Press the Send softkey, or green phone icon, to complete the transfer.
